YMCA members may sign up for classes teaching lifeguarding, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), proper use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), and first aid. Upon successful completion of these classes, participants may apply for an aquatics position within the YMCA.

October 16th, 17th, 24th, and 25th. Saturday and Sunday 12:30 pm - 5:00 pm.
$185.00 for Facility Members $220.00 for Community and Inactive Members
Ages: 15 and Up
CPR & FIRST AID CLASSES
Learn how to recognize and care for life-threatening emergencies such as respiratory or cardiac problems, sudden illness, or injuries to adults. CPR/AED & First Aid classes are taught on Saturdays on a monthly basis. You must be at least 16 years of age to take these courses.

YMCA AQUATIC SAFETY ASSISTANT (YASA)
Prerequisites: Minimum of 14 years old. Must pass swim test requirements for specific certification.
