ZUMBATHON 2010
FREE and OPEN to the Community

Y T.E.A.M
Is an all outdoor cross training program for adults (18+) of all levels designed to use nature, team work and bodyweight exercises to achieve a common goal.
Training team members can work towards goal races and represent the T.E.A.M.  The training is designed to compliment your training program, add variety and build supportive relationships with others.
Together Everyone Achieves More: Each instructor lead mission will follow a set route, jogging to different destinations around the YMCA and the Grove incorporating team building to perform set intervals and drills such as standard push-ups and sit ups, more intense hill sprints, tire flips, sandbag carries and much more. The T.E.A.M will also utilize the pools to kayak and perform water training sessions. Y TEAM runs on Thursday evenings at 6:30pm and Saturday mornings at 8:00am. TRIATHLON TRAINING TEAM
This training team is for the novice who is looking for the support, guidance and knowledge to complete a sprint triathlon.  Each training session last six weeks and you can sign up for as many sessions and you need to prepare for your race.  Team members will be coached on swimming, biking and running.  The weekly training schedule is listed below.

Team Members Receive

  • Swimming, biking and running instruction by USA Triathlon certified coaches from Richmond’s highly successful TRIgirl/TRIquest Training.
  • A six week training calendar designed to establish a base in all disciplines of triathlon.
  • A strength training program for triathletes.
  • A training journal.
  • A team webpage to share tips, photos, etc.

Facility Members $100.00,    Community Members $125.00
